The mission of the Spruce Initiative is to raise awareness and advocate for a safe and sustainable future for both our built and natural environments. We commit to Sprucing up the planet by being prepared to pick up one piece of rubbish a day when we are out on our daily walk, disposing of it appropriately, and through giving an annual gift to the planet off a tree, in recognition of .Spruce Day, (January 5) each year. We advocate.for both the natural and built environments and seek to promote a sustainable and brighter future for our lives on Earth, one thoughtful act, one day at a time.  We also endeavour to form an integrated green network of individuals and communities. Clean and green is our strategy.
