Mel and I have been out walking to the shops and around the foreshore in Woy Woy and have been busy picking up rubbish.  Usually it is more than just one piece a day.  However, the mission of the Spruce Initiative remains the same: to pick up one piece of rubbish a day while out on our daily walk.  Today we found quite a few pieces.  There are places where the rubbish seems to accumulate like in a laneway close to the shops and around the primary school.  We pick up quite a few plastic sandwich wrappers outside the school.  My pal Mel is an enthusiastic supporter.  Hooray for Mel!
